The first themed cake I made was for my son's 1st birthday 10 years ago and was a Winnie the Pooh stand up cake.  I enjoyed making it so much that I continued to make our cakes year after year.  I now have three beautiful boys and have made several more cakes for family and friends. Here are some examples of my cakes.

Our oldest son Kevin has taken an interest in decorating cakes too.  He has entered the Halloween cake contest at school since 1st grade and has won first place all four years.  They did not do a Fall contest in 2008.  Here are his prize winning cakes...

1st Grade: Kevin works on his cake for the 2005 Cake Contest at Harrison Road Elementary School.

Derek started making cakes when he began Elementary School.  The first contest he entered was a Holiday Cake Contest in 2008.  He followed up the next year entering the Fall Cake Contest in 2009.  He won first place both years!

Kindergarten: Derek with his Gingerbread Man Cake at school.

Derek wrote "Run, run as fast as you can. You can't catch me Mr. Recore, I'm the Gingerbread Man" Mr. Recore is the school's P.E. teacher. It was a hit!
